How to limit social media use on your iPhone

While working from home, it's challenging to balance between being available to our friends and family and remaining productive at the same time. There are many ways to stay focused, and one of them is to limit our screen times on our phones. You can check your screen time stats on your iPhone and see how it compares to the previous weeks and months. Recently, I've noticed an enormous jump from two hours a day to six hours a day. Sure, our phones help us stay informed and productive too. However, I wanted to make sure I was not spending time unnecessarily on social media. Here's how to limit your social media use on your iPhone:



Setting the time limit

  1. Settings

  2. Screen time

  3. App limits

  4. Add limit

  5. Choose the app or the category and click 'next'

  6. Set the time

That's it, done. Now, when you forget about the world around you while scrolling, a friendly reminder will appear that you hit your limit, and it's over now. What else do you do to stay focused and productive when working from home?
